This news just in: apparently, there is a war somewhere.
(There; it's a news post. Happy, Ada?)
New page is up! This page is probably the one I'm happiest with so far, which is great. The art is better than it's ever been (which is no simple feat), the dialogue isn't too clunky, and it finally compliments what's happening on the page; ie. the page feels more right and works better with the text than without.
Anywho, just wanted to mention Cheese Bandits, who're Australian (as I am), have a .net instead of .com as we do, started up early this year as we did, and their Comic Nation entry comes up before their site when googling for "cheesebandits", as it does for us with "cion comic".
And they're great like we are.
*cough*
You guys are crazy! 160 visitors? Where are you all coming from? I must know!
Seriously though, thanks for your patronage, and we'll try not to disappoint. The site will be fixed soon (hopefully before the weekend, since I've got an exam tomorrow), we should have either a bit of text or... I don't know... some type of content up, in the next week. You will probably have to wait at least two weeks for the next comic though, as I'm having a bit of trouble with the script, and Kail's pretty busy with projects.
Meanwhile, you could keep interested by visiting the forum, every now and again.
Apologies for the brief lapse back to my script-kiddie days (yes, I was there, I used Exodus) but there is little other way to describe the thrill that is Gmail. That is, no crappy, annoying ads, no limits on space, no taint of microsoft. No Hotmail. There is something almost religious in the experience of using a free email provider that isn't trying to fuck you over. I've been told that I'll be able to invite 6 people in a bit, so if you're interested, you can email me on the off chance that I haven't found enough people to hand accounts out to.
Also, I'm just about to activate my free 14 day trial account of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, as you may have noticed from the tabs and windows in the screenshots. 1.83 gig is a pretty hefty download, but if you're interested and want to kill my pissweak Mon Calamari Creature Handler, I should be on Shadowfire server.
See you in two weeks.
PS: That circle frankfurt writhing is a private affair that concerns only myself and my good friend Howard, and I'll thank you not to pry.
Of course not! You don't have the date whatsemegigger! And speaking of the date thing, we might have to put an hour:min:sec thing on there, since this is like the third newspost I've done in 6 hours.
(PS: Send the next email to my Gmail account (jason.bakker@gmail.com), no more Optusnet for me!)
