Okay, after running the logs for our first year on the web, it's pretty obvious that this comic isn't going to work without some serious changes. Our traffic started off low and somehow got worse. Last month was the worst month we've ever had (even worse than when we didn't update for three months), and since it looks like a continuation of a trend, it's probably going to get worse.

'Course, it's not like it's some great, shadowy mystery as to why we're not getting anything when I'm looking at the monthly site reports and mumbling "Did we update that month? Yeah, I think so..." I don't know why I have so much trouble drawing a page every month, when other sites do three (or more) per week, of higher quality, and so on. I don't know how they do it, but I do know I can't.

Anyway, right now, our main concern is streamlining production. I'm hoping to get things sped up to the point where I can put out at least one page per week. I've seen a few comics that seem to be able to retain readers on that, at least.

At the moment, Adapa is real busy with real life stuff, so until we get some time to hash out exactly what's going to happen with the page, I'm kind of casting around here looking for stuff that I can use to form a solid update schedule. Did some sketches last week, and I think I can probably swing a once-weekly update with just a pencil comic, so that's what I'm thinking of doing at the moment. Probably every Friday. I'm not sure what it'll be about, probably Kerao or one of my other side projects reworked to be drawn faster. Let me know if anyone's got any preferences or anythying.

So, hopefully, I'll update this again friday. Until then, my brother has decided that the first page of his comic is finished, so I'll put it Here.

All right, I think I got a decent idea for a comic. It should be up at this page. It's a bit smaller than Cion, and monochromatic. The good news is that this comic is relatively quick to draw, so I should be able to update it twice weekly, so I'm going to aim for mondays and fridays. As always, feel free to drop me a line if you see anything that strikes you as particularly good or bad.

Hey guys, I'm back from a harrowing end-of-semester. The next comic is at storyboard stage, and should be done in approximately a week. We're going to be making a few changes to the format and process to get them out faster and more regularly, so hopefully we'll be able to really delve into the storyline; there's some interesting stuff that's coming up in the next few pages.
